Last 2012 post

I liked the trip at the pools when we went on the hydro slides and on the train. When I was walking back from the pool I got tired.
I liked the Hugo movie when we watched it after the story Hugo and the clock tower.
The mentos experiment with the coke. You have to put 5 mentos in the coke and the coke explodes diet coke is better. My final thoughts are that im going to miss doing my learning for 6 weeks.
Next year ill miss Mr M because hes leaving next year that's sad.

Assembly

Last week on Friday week 4 term 4 Room 15 did an assembly on same same but different and a dairy farm. The host was Kori and Libby. We started off with the greetings. next we did the synonyms on same same but different. Next we did a game show. This is when you have to try and do a question and get them right. Next there was an Epal skit with people emailing people in other country's. Next we did our talent our talents were what we can do and how we will achieve it. Next we did a song it was count on me Bruno Mars. Next we did a cow to glass play that meant how the milk from the cow was in your fridge.

What i have learnt about on my maths

I am going to tell you about what have learnt on my maths. I am doing halving and doubling and that is when you do something like this for exaple so if there is 2x24 so you double 2 and that is 4 and you halv the 24 so that is 12 and that is 4x12 then you go 4x10 witchs that =40 and then you go 4x2 and that = 2 and then you add the awsers together and that = 42. We are learning to paticioning for another exaple 2x13 you have to take away the 3 from the 3 from the 13 and go like this 2x10=20 an then add the 3 back on and take away the 10 so that is 2x3=6 and then you add the ansews together and that sould = 26. That is what i have learnt.

Discovery Speech

I wrote my speech on Nazca lines because it was interesting and I wanted to learn about it and what they were. I didn't know many facts until I searched up the Nazca lines. Before I went I was shy and not prepared. I said my speech when I was shy. When I went back down I was proud of myself because I went up and did my speech even when I was shy. next time i will write my speech longer with more detail and more facts. I will Defiantly use more Expression and Eye contact. I need to not be shy when I go up next time more photos of the speech I do it on next time. I really want to make it into the speech finals by doing all of those things and learn it at home and at school say to my brothers or sisters so I have eye contact not be scared and have expression so I can make it into the speech finals with heaps and heaps of information and then I will be very very proud of myself.

ANZAC AND WAR

What i learnt about war that it isn't fun and it smell stink like poo and wee. Many people die like our friends. They have to build trenches for long and stay in there for there enemy to come. In the trenches they have a poo and wee in the trenches. Trenches are some thing that's a long hole. Red is a color of the war because of the blood and black is a color to for the people that is dead brown is the color for all the mud that was there. There was a medical person named Simpson and he found a strong donkey to carry the people that was wounded and dead. A couple of week s later Simpson died and his donkey lived for 50 years or over. There is ANZAC to remember thos who has died.    

Stop motion explanation

Stop motions are made when someone is taking a picture and moving the people or props a little bit. Stop motions are on the internet. Some stop motions are made out of 60 000 pictures. A stop motion is a video made out of pictures.

For a stop motion you need a tripod, camera, computer with video spin, windows movie maker or iMovie.

First you make a plan then find a spot to set it up. Then put the camera on the tripod. After that you set up people or props. Keep still and take a picture then move the people or props a little and take another photo and move it a little again. Keep on doing that until you have enough photos.

When you are done you plug your camera into the computer and then go to video spin or iMovie or windows movie maker. You need to click on the photo and drag it down to the story board. There is plus and takeaway on the left hand corner at the bottom. Keep on clicking the plus till you see what you need to see. Then you publish it and then you have got your own stop motion.

Stop motion

We are doing a stop motion and might post our cool awesome stop motionon youtube. A stop motion is when someone takes a picture of somebodyand then they move up a little and then they take another photo.They need a tripod so the camera can stay still so you dont movethe camera.

Hi my name is Jahmin and I'm 9 years old.

I have always lived in Hamilton I would love to live in America because everything is cheaper and there is more stuff in America.

Somethings I love is PlayStation's, sports, computer game, my whanau.

This is a collage portrait of me. To make this I had to cut out some pictures from the magazine and they all have to be the same colour. After we have found all our picture we can start gluing the pictures on. For the cloths or the back round we have to pick a wall paper and put it on the cloths or the back round.
